Hi, I'm Ciera, and
welcome to my art blog. There isn't much to know about me, other than I love to
draw cartoons. I'm 17 and I blow the candles out June 27th. I'm planning on attending
an art college after high school and majoring in Digital Illustration.
I normally draw pokemon, animals, anthros, and any fandom I'm into. I do have a character I've made up and it's NOT a pokemon. It's a red panda with a mask and its strictly made by me. 100% mine. I also take commissions for my art work and I will making a page of that soon to list my prices.
I decided to make my
blog into an 'Digital Art Appreciation' blog, along with some art history
thrown in. I may write about other genres of art, but it'll probably stay
focused around computer art such as Animation, Graphic Design, Digital
Illustration, etc. My blog name was difficult to come up with as well. I tried
to make it witty and dealing with Digital art, but not too general and cliché.
So I came up with "Pixel Paintbrush" referencing the use of a tablet
as the drawing tool.
My first couple posts
will be exploring through some different digital art pieces that my friends
have created and explaining how they were made, emotions, different styles of
art, etc. Then I will move into animation, graphic design, and etc. Then I will
put in another page that has my own art that I'm proud of and that might be
going into my portfolio. Hope you enjoy!
